| I am looking for a 15.2hh+ (3-8yo) horse to continue BSJA on and some ODE. No colour/gender preference although must be able to relocate. Rider currently jumping 1m25 tracks. Any horse considered, green, in need of re-schooloing, ex-racehorses and behavioural problems considered. Serious loving competition home, horse to be kept at own yard with four other horses. Own transport, home for as long as necessary, regular updates to owner guaranteed and any visits welcome. Will happily sign loan agreement-would expect nothing less. Unable to commit to buying as cant bear to part will current BSJA pony who is too small. Therefore he is up for loan. For sale lovely 16.2 exracehorse gelding,
Regretfully this lovely baby faced boy is up for sale he is seven years old and a lovely lad to keep but due to time and money commitments he has to go.
He was brought back into work a few months ago, and started schooling, lunging ect, eventually i took him out on the road ( well my trainer did) and he hasnt batted an eyelid to any traffic! he is so calm.
This horse does need a confident rider to bring him on more.... he needs a bit of touching up here and there but he is eager to learn more and touch up on his skills at present.
He is vaccinated/wormed/teeth/micro-chipped/passported/shod all upto date, he is shod only on his fronts reason being i wanted to see how he would be with a farrier and because he started road work.
Little bit more background info on this horse: Ive owned him for about 1 year and 7-9 months previously he was owned by a lady for 2 years (who had him straight from the track) He was kicked out of raceing due to a hock injury ( slight frcture) but has shown no problems with me or his old owner!
When with his old owner he was turned away for two years and left as a grazing horse his feet werent done - or anything so he had poor condition feet ( no toe all cracks) luckily his feet have improoved a lot since i have owned him and he only has surface cracks now!
Sky is a little bit underweight due to the fact i have another horse who is lamanetic/colic prone and they are kept in the same paddock and he is missing out because of her..
When sold to the ideal home for him - he will come with saddle/bridle/rugs ect which are all relativly brand new!
I DONT want sky to go to an eventing home, he wouldnt be suitable for that.
