D.O.B 20/6/07, Sire 17.1hh Clydesdale - Dam 15.2hh Traditional Gypsy Cob, Standing at 14hh+ already and is only 13 months old. Bill is the most beautiful yearling ever, draped in feather from knee to floor already, beautiful markings and a really nice head on him. He has a very loving nature, can be bathed and all four feet picked up, halter broken and leading out well, this horse has a real future, will make 16hh easily and will be an all round family/ show hunter cob, & also has Driving/stallion potential. He has been in a lorry & trailer and loaded/travelled with no problems, wormed to date/feet trimmed and passported with the Gypsy Cob Society, no time wasters or day trippers (no offence) he is priced low for such an outstanding cob. | I have two children aged 8 & 5 who currently own a lovely 11hh pony, their current pony is fantastic but more of a lead rein pony (he`s quite dependent on a leader), he would also rather step over jumps at a walk than actually jump them!, so they are now ready to move on. My children can both now do a rising trot and are off the lead rein. They attend pony club and do a little bit of everything (mounted games, jumping showing etc), including hacking out with me they also enjoy going to local shows.
I am looking for a pony who is 200% safe, must not buck, rear, bolt spook etc, they haven`t done too much cantering (their current pony isn`t up to it!). My son is quite a nervous jockey so needs a complete confidence giver. Although they need a pony who will be slightly more forward going than their current pony, they still want a pony with good brakes & one thats not going to whizz off.
In return, we can offer the pony a lovely five star home, good grazing with small quiet herd, large 12x14 rubber matted stable, and two children who will give the pony lots of love attention & cuddles! I can provide references.
Their previous pony had laminitis with old owner but not had with us as he`s well managed, so not put off by laminitics!
I am looking to buy but equally happy to full loan.
